WWDC 2008

Posted by ™E

Ok, to add my name to the list of a billion sites that covered Steve Jobs' WWDC 2008 Keynote...here goes. The main focus of the keynote was in fact the iPhone. Jobs brought out Scott Forstall, VP of Platform Experience, to go over the iPhone's SDK and changes to it. Changes include new interface developer, Xcode, and iPhone emulator. He stressed how easy it is going to be to make third party apps for the iPhone and how clients/users would get their hands on it via the App Store. Jobs came back to go over changes in the new iPhone...iPhone 3G. The iPhone was released at a price of $599 for the 8gb version about a year ago. Today, the 8gb iPhone 3G will retail for $199.
